Support the Mount Vernon Library
The Mount Vernon Library Foundation raises funds for Library programs, books, and equipment not available through the city budget. These are not extras, but necessary to enhance vital programs for children and adults.
We support children’s book giveaways, cutting edge STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Education) equipment for teens, and cultural programs for adults. When you see story rugs in the children’s library, Ukrainian language books on shelves, a 3-D printer and a gaming system in the teen room, food and beverages at outreach gatherings, the “Draw Alive Screen” facing the community rooms, you’re viewing examples of how the Foundation helps to make the library truly exceptional.
The Mount Vernon Library Commons Capital Campaign has come to an end, and we’re truly grateful for your generous support, but we still need your help to insure the library’s continued vibrant and valuable place in our community.
Every donation counts, from $1 to a thousand or more. There’s no such thing as a small donation when it comes from the heart.
